Asseco Prokom Gdynia

Asseco Prokom Gdynia - a team taking part in the competition the Polish Basketball League and the Euroleague, which is managed by the company "Arka Gdynia SA Basketball Club." In 2008/09 the team has performed under the name Asseco Prokom Sopot. In the 2009/2010 season due to change of residence club will be called Asseco Prokom Gdynia, Sopot held in this place team Trefl Sopot.

Years 2000-2009

Season 2000-2001 was a step forward for the team from Sopot, which defended the Polish Cup and also won a bronze medal in the 2001 Polish Championships.

In the next two seasons the team was losing in the final two Polish Championships, yielding: in 2002, Silesia Wroclaw 1:4, and in 2003 Anwilowi Wloclawek 2:4.

Since 2004, the team is unbeaten in the Polish Championships, winning: in 2004, Slask Wroclaw 4-1 in 2005 and 2006 Anwil 4:2 and 4:1, and in the years 2007 to 2009 tripled Turow Zgorzelec respectively 4:1, 4:3 (series began with the state of 0:2) and 4:1, thereby improving the record number of league titles in a row, Silesia, Wroclaw in the years 1998-2002.
